Hotel Commonwealth

I recently stayed at Hotel Commonwealth and I can honestly say it is by far one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elegant, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms were absolutely stunning — spacious, spotless, and so comfortable. I especially loved the little touches that made our stay feel extra special, like the reusable water bottles they give out to guests. It’s such a thoughtful and eco-friendly perk! The free snacks during check-in were another pleasant surprise and such a warm way to welcome guests after traveling. Every detail felt intentional, and the overall experience was truly top-tier. We will absolutely be back — this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

The staff at this hotel are top notch professionals. The doorman Jeff and the front desk person (also Jeff) were amazing - kind, thoughtful, and resourceful. We were in town for surgery at a local hospital and they both went above and beyond to meet our needs. We stayed at another area hotel a few weeks ago during our pre-surgery visit that was $40 less expensive, but the service here alone is worth the price. The room was also great - the bed was perfect and the room was large by Boston/NY standards. Good location too, a Metro station stop (called the T in Boston) is literally right next to the hotel. This place is fantastic; we’ll be back!

Will be our go to hotel in Boston. Amazing location, hotel accommodations and service - we got snowed in here, thankfully as it was great. They upgraded us to a lovely suite. Extremely convenient, next to the Kenmore Green Line T (we took the shuttle, to the Blue Line, then the Green - emerged from the elevator with our luggage and looked right to see the entrance to the hotel). Steps away from excellent restaurants (do yourself a favor and eat in Blue Ribbon Sushi) and across the street from Cornwalls (with a great assortment of boardgames!).

This was our first time staying at Hotel Commonwealth and what an unbelievable experience from arrival to departure and everything in between. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by one of the friendliest doormen you will ever meet. He was so pleasant and welcoming, you knew the service here was going to be tremendous. Steve assisted with our luggage and then showed us to the lobby for us to check in. This was another great experience for us. We walked up to front desk and were immediately greeted by one of the nicest gentleman you will ever come across. His name was Nick and his energy and personality did not disappoint. The check in process was smooth and very quick. The rooms are wonderful and this may be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. There is always someone cleaning, and you can see it in every area of the hotel. Thank you to the entire staff for an unbelievable experience. We will be back!!! If you are in Boston, this should be the only place you stay.

We had the best experience here!! The customer service was amazing. Nick went above and beyond for us and made us feel so welcomed! The location was perfect for us to walk from the hotel to the concert venue to avoid traffic and parking. The bed was so cozy and we loved the entire vibe. The lobby was decorated for Christmas and just so beautiful! My daughter and I had the best time and we can’t wait to come stay here again!! Thank you so much for your hospitality and amazing memories!

We were very satisfied with the hotel. We only stayed there for one night to visit the Longwood medical area for an appointment. It was an easy 25 to 30 minute walk to the hospitals in Longwood. The room was great. It was very spacious. Overall, the hotel is kept in very good shape. If you need to be in this area of Boston for one or several nights, this hotel is a great choice.

Staff is amazing. The hotel is in a great location near Fenway Park and House of Blues, to name a few. We upgraded to the King suite overlooking Fenway. The room was very comfortable and included a bedroom with large flat-screen TV, separate living room with another large flat-screen TV, large bathroom an outside balcony. It's winter and too cold to enjoy the balcony but would be a great bonus when weather improves. The living room is just a bit outdated but comfortable. Overall very pleased and would definitely recommend.

First off the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely fantastic if you are looking to check out Fenway or head shopping down on Newbury St or Prudential. I was here for work at a conference and surprisingly lots of space and the food was amazing for hotel catering. 5 stars for the food and chef. The room I was in (3rd Floor) was ok, nothing special. It was some what facing the MassPike which does cause some noise.
